How It Works

To ensure accurate pricing on its perpetual trading platform, Vordex uses an internal oracle that updates in real time with every trade made on the platform. This allows precise risk management and fair liquidations.

Real-Time Updates

The oracle takes prices directly from swaps and trades on Vordex. Each transaction instantly updates the price of the asset involved. This avoids delays and external dependencies.

Coverage of All Listed Tokens

Every token with a trading pair on Vordex has its price tracked by the oracle. However, only tokens with strong and stable liquidity are eligible for perpetual contracts.

Simple and Secure by Design

Since Alephium doesn't support flash loans or MEV, the oracle doesn’t need complex protections. It’s lightweight, fast, and built for the native environment.

Integrated with Liquidations

The oracle feeds live price data directly into the liquidation engine. This ensures fair and timely position management and helps keep the platform secure and efficient.
